You will be confident in all services from cutting to colouring, where you can really show off your skills and creativity, while maintaining a high standard of service and cleanliness throughout the salon. In return, we offer you an attractive salary plus commission on retail as well as various other benefits and further training. Responsibilities of a Hairdresser:

  • Performing services to the expected time and standard trained.
  • Meeting and greeting clients in a friendly, professional and helpful manner.
  • Ensuring all clients receive excellent customer service.
  • Building, maintaining and growing a loyal clientele.
  • Exhibiting excellent product knowledge to enable up-selling and promotion of aftercare to clients.
  • Be aware and comply with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Working closely with other team members to ensure continuity with services.
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the salon and individual sections.

Requirements of a Hairdresser:

  • To be friendly, polite and helpful.
  • Having a high level of personal presentation.
  • To be patient and compassionate when dealing with clients.
  • Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work weekends and evenings.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Service orientation and excellent organisational skills.
  • Active listening and effective communication competencies.
  • NVQ2 in Hairdressing. NVQ3 is a great bonus.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience running your own column.
  • Confident in all ages and genders.

Beauty Therapist / Makeup Artist / Nail Technician

Are you a polite, friendly and professional individual who is looking for a full-time role as a Beauty Therapist?

We are currently looking for a beauty therapist for a busy, friendly salon within Roisin Doherty Salons. The ideal candidate will be performing a range of beauty treatments within a salon including Makeup, waxing, nails and more while ensuring all treatments are carried out to a consistent high standard and exceeding all retail targets.You will also ensure that the highest level of cleanliness is always maintained.  In return, we offer you an attractive salary plus commission on retail as well as various other benefits with great further training provided.

Responsibilities of a Beauty Therapist:

  • Performing treatments to the expected time and standard trained.
  • Exhibiting excellent product knowledge to be able to sell products as well as treatments.
  • Managing trollies to ensure all stock is present to perform treatments each day.
  • Exhibiting excellent treatment knowledge to upsell bookings.
  • Working closely with other team members to ensure continuity with treatments.
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the treatment rooms.
  • Liaising with guests in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

Requirements of a Beauty Therapist:

Office Administrator & Marketing

We are currently looking for an Office admin and marketing admin to join a warm and friendly team in a very busy environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, team player looking to further their career and passionate in organising and helping our brand grow.  You must be confident in greeting customers and clients and working with the public on a day to day basis. Opportunity to work from home.

Key responsibilities:

Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge is ESSENTIAL

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience within a Marketing Administration role is desirable but not essential
  • Previous Administration experience is essential (Min 2 Years)

Organisation
Data input;
General admin;

Social media marketing etc

  • Manage correspondence by answering mails and sorting mail/packages;
  • Create and update customer records and databases;
  • Track stocks of office and salon supplies for ordering;
  • Order processing, dispatching and invoicing;
  • Filing organisation;
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies

Requirements

  • A high level of numeracy and good attention to detail.
  • Ability to use your own initiative without the need of supervision;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to handle confidential information;
  • Ability to multitask;
  • Good team player;
  • Qualifications would be a bonus but not essential;
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities;
